Small Business and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Program

Adult Desk

Executive Orders D-37-01 and D-43-01 require all state agencies to look to small businesses and disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs) first when we need to procure or contract out services.

DMV must reach and maintain a minimum participation goal of 25% for small businesses and 3% for DVBEs, and we are committed to helping local suppliers succeed.

If you operate a small business or a DVBE, DMV wants to work with you!

Helping You Succeed

It's about more than legislation. California is home to approximately 4.3 million small businesses, which employ nearly half of the state’s private-sector workforce (around 47– 49%) and drive about 90% of California’s Gross Domestic Product. What DMV does as a state department affects our local communities, so we want to do what we can to help small businesses and DVBEs grow and thrive. Learn more about our programs and services. We'd love to work with you.
