Autonomous Vehicle Deployment (AVD) Program to establish regulations for manufacturers to meet before they can deploy autonomous vehicles on California\u2019s public roads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-dmv-spacer-block spacer-box\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-dmv-container shadow-box\">\n<p>The AV Deployment Program is administered by the DMV Autonomous Vehicles Branch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of October 24, 2023, there are three manufacturers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dmv.ca.gov\/portal\/es\/vehicle-industry-services\/autonomous-vehicles\/autonomous-vehicle-testing-permit-holders\/\">autorizados para implementar veh\u00edculos href=\"\/portal\/es\/memo-alerts\/\">sign up for email alerts<\/a> to stay current on application requirements and changes that may impact program participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply for the Autonomous Vehicle Deployment Program, submit the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a Streets (OL 321) (PDF)<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dmv.ca.gov\/portal\/es\/file\/autonomous-vehicle-manufacturer-surety-bond-ol-317-pdf\/\">Autonomous Vehicle Manufacturer Surety Bond (OL 317) (PDF)<\/a> <strong>or<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dmv.ca.gov\/portal\/es\/file\/autonomous-vehicle-deployment-permit-application-for-certificate-of-self-insurance-ol-319a-pdf\/\">Autonomous Vehicle Deployment Permit Application for Certificate of Self-Insurance (OL 319A) (PDF)<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A copy of articles of incorporation, corporate minutes or other document filed with the Secretary of State, which identifies the officers, shareholders and managers (if filing as a corporation, limited liability company or limited liability partnership owned business).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Email all completed application forms and documents to <a href=\"mailto:autonomousvehicles@dmv.ca.gov\">autonomousvehicles@dmv.ca.gov<\/a> and pay the applicable fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also mail your application forms,
