Learner's Permit

For New Drivers
The first step to getting your driver’s license is earning a learner’s permit, also called instruction permit, while you learn to drive and complete licensing requirements.

Motor Carrier Permit (MCP)

For Commercial Drivers
Drivers who transport property, operate large commercial vehicles, transport hazardous materials, or operate vehicles requiring a commercial driver license need an MCP.

Temporary Operating Permit (TOP)

For Vehicle Owners, Dealerships and Auto Sellers
A TOP allows a vehicle to be moved when registration fees are paid but plates or stickers haven’t yet been issued.
